<p> (KZN.RU, September 24). On September 29, a sports race with the symbolic name “First” will be held in Kazan on the campus KNRTU-KAI on Chetaev Street. It is timed to the 50th anniversary of the first flight of the supersonic passenger aircraft Tu-144. </p> <p> </p> <p> Participants of the race will run 2500 meters. The distance is dedicated to the record speed of the airliner. The maximum speed that this type of aircraft could develop is 2500 km/h. The race will also be dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the designer Andrey Tupolev. </p> <p> </p> <p> The registration for the race is scheduled for 1.30 pm, the athletes start at 2.30, reports the press service of the university. You must register on the site in order to join the race. </p>
