Kazan residents will find new pets at the “Paw of Friendship” event at the Uritsky Park

On September 12, dogs from the Zoo Center shelter will meet with citizens.

On September 12, a charity event “Paw of Friendship” will take place at the Uritsky Park in Kazan that is aimed at helping homeless animals. During the event, citizens will be able to spend time with dogs from the Zoo Center shelter and choose a pet. Dogs under the age of one year will be brought to the event. All pets are vaccinated, and puppies are sterilized.

During the campaign, visitors can get recommendations on animal care from specialists – a veterinarian and a dog handler. Regina Mukhametkhanova, a dog specialist from Kazan, will show a performance of one of her dogs – a border collie named Ester.

A charity fair will be held for the citizens, part of the funds will be allocated to help private animal shelters. In addition, it will be possible to help the animals from the shelter– buy food and other necessary things for the shelter.

The event will be held from 11:00 to 13:00, the Directorate of Parks and Squares reports.

For reference, the first event took place at the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, eight dogs found a new family.

Another eight dogs found a family at the event at the Gorky Park. Among those who adopted a dog were the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the head coach of the football club Rubin Leonid Slutsky.
