Kazan residents are invited to become volunteers of the 45th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee

It is planned to involve 380 volunteers to assist in organizing the session.

The recruitment of volunteers for the 45th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee, which will take place in Kazan on 19-30 June 2022, has launched. It is planned to involve 380 volunteers in three areas: attaché, service functional areas and the official program.

To become a volunteer, it is necessary to create a personal account on the website, and then to be interviewed as part of the recruitment campaign, which will start on March 1, the Press Office of the Directorate of Sports and Social Projects reports.

The upcoming session will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, which was adopted in 1972. Over 4,000 delegates are expected to participate in it. The main plenary sessions will take place at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center.
