The event will be held on April 5 in the mobile facilities in the centre of Kazan.
(KZN.RU, April 4). In advance of the World Health Day the Kazan citizens are invited to join HIV/AIDS preventive campaign. In the mobile facilities everyone will be able to get blood for HIV/AIDS anonymous and free of charge, and to know your status in 15 minutes.
The campaign is aimed at focusing greater attention on the HIV/AIDS problem. The organisers find it necessary to get correct information about these illnesses to everybody, as well as to help to protect themselves and their relatives.
The event will be held on April 5 from 12.00pm till 14.00pm in mobile screening facilities which will be situated at the intersection of Bauman and Universitetskaya streets.
Today in the Republic of Tatarstan more than 13 thousand citizens with positive results registered in treatment centres. The ratings of morbidity and incidence in the RT around 2 times lower than in Russia. Moreover, the HIV/AIDS attrition rate is observed during the last four years.
The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the Russian regions where the HIV/AIDS screening coverage rates are highest - there are 30% of the population annually. Rapid HIV tests are carried out in Russia as part of a widespread preventive campaigns and events, each year more than 8000 persons participate in the campaign.
