Kazan citizens are invited to celebrate Maslenitsa on the Kremlin embankment

The program of the festival includes performances, interactive with skomorokhs, and contests with prizes.

(KZN.RU, March 6). On March 10, large scale and fun Maslenitsa festivities will be held on the Kremlin embankment of Kazan. Guests could attend an exciting holiday program, master classes, make happy pancakes and take part in burning a scarecrow.

The celebration of Maslenitsa will be held at various sites of the embankment. Performances of Russian folk songs and dances, exciting competitions with prizes will take place on the main stage. Also, interactive zones with contests will be organized on the site where you can receive gifts from the Kremlin embankment.

Anyone can attend free master classes on making toys and crafts during the celebration of Maslenitsa.

On the same day, you can try hearty meals, tasty pancakes and hot drinks on the embankment. Everyone will have the opportunity to cook a happy pancake on their own and make a wish.

The beginning of the holiday is at 1 pm; the burning of Maslenitsa scarecrow is scheduled for 4 pm, reports the marketing and development department of the Kremlin embankment.
