The cycle of concerts “The Organ Kingdom” continues at the GSCH named after S. Saidashev.

(KZN.RU, January 16). Kazan citizens are invited to a musical battle on January 28 at the GSCH named after S. Saidashev. On this day, the concert “Organ and Knight in Shiny Armor” from the cycle of concerts “Organ Kingdom” will be held twice.

A cycle of unusual performances started in Kazan last autumn. Each time the king of instruments, as the organ is called, competes with string, wind, and folk instruments. The winners are determined by the audience.

The organizers prepared for the Kazan audience an exclusive program: musical masterpieces of the last five centuries, from the Renaissance to the movie hits. Works by Vincenzo Manfredini, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Modest Mussorgsky, Richard Strauss, and jazz compositions will be performed by Lada Labzina, an Honored Artist of the RT (organ), wind orchestra of the Kazan Higher Tank Command Red Banner School under the conduction of Lieutenant Colonel Yan Orekhov, and the State Chamber Choir of the RT under the conduction of Milyausha Tamindarova, an Honored Artist of the RT.

The concert “The Organ and the Knight in Shiny Armor” will be held twice: at 12 pm and 3 pm, reports the organizers.
