The citizens of Kazan were acquainted with the history of theatrical art development

The subscribers of the official groups of the City Hall in the social networks visited the museum of the theatre named after V.I.Kachalov.

(KZN.RU, March 27, Alsu Safina). Today we celebrate the World Theatre Day. On the eve of the holiday the subscribers of the official groups of Kazan City Hall in the social networks were able to touch the world of art. They visited the Kazan Academic Russian Bolshoi Drama Theater named after V.Kachalov, one of oldest theatres of Russia. There they not only got acquainted the history of theatrical art development of our city, but also went on the stage.

The main items of the theatre development in Kazan - from the XVIII century up to now - are presented in detail in the Kachalovsky Theater, in the museum, the expositions of which are located on two floors of the building. The participants of the excursion found out about where the first Kazan theatres were situated in the city and how they looked like, leant of work of matchmakers and the Kazan period in Vassily Kachalov's biography and the history of his alias, also the visitors were told about well-known Kazan actors, and much more. There are different interesting exhibits in the museum - a tea spoon with Vassily Kachalov's initials and a dress in which he played a starring role as Chacky, the tongs for hair wave which were used by the actors at the end XIX - the beginning of XX centuries, theatrical programs, posters and much other are presented there. The special interest was caused by theatrical dresses, in which actors went on stage in different performances.

The citizens of Kazan visited as well the museum court yard where the world's first major monument to Vassily Kachalov is located. The participants of the excursion received the most positive emotions visiting the auditorium. In this evening there were no performances in the theatre, therefore the seats were covered by the jackets, and the stage was absent. Roman Kopylov, the manager of theatre museum, told why the spectator places were decreased up to 505 ones, and how the last big reconstruction of the historical building was held which was finished in 2014. The participants of excursion were able to mount to the theatre stage and look at to auditorium by the actors' eyes. In the end the the most attentive guests received the invitation cards to the theatre performances.

We will note that visiting the theatre became the next excursion which is held monthly within the project of official city group. The subscribers with the guide Liliia Kalimullina have been already walked along Bauman street, sat at the desks in the classrooms of the Kazan federal university, saw New Year's Kazan through its history, as well as learned where the wooden houses were preserved in the city centre. The informayion about how to take a fresh look at the native city and learn interesting some unknown facts of Kazan will be published in the official groups of the City Hall in the social networks «Vkontakte» and Instagram.
