(KZN.RU, March 16). Nikita Polyakov, a third-year student at the Institute of Management, Economics, and Finance of the Kazan Federal University, won the Management Cup among students “Upravlyai!”. He was among 16 thousand rivals from all over Russia and received a grant for a master's degree in Russian higher educational institution in the management direction of half a million rubles.
160 best students from 40 regions of the country from the Kamchatka Territory to the Republic of Crimea and the Kaliningrad region made their way to the final of the cup after the qualifying stage and semi-final. The best of the best came to the finals, which took place on March 11-12 at the Central House of Entrepreneurs in Moscow. During the final, participants, among which there were three representatives of the Kazan Federal University, were divided into 32 teams of 5 people.
Students fought for an exit in the top 10, and Nikita Polyakov was among the first. The final tests included an assessment of personal qualities, a business simulation of a conditional company management, and other tests.
The student from Kazan also got the opportunity to take part in the national stage of the Global Management Challenge and a trip to the world finals in Dubai this spring. Nikita Polyakov has already received several proposals for job and internships in major Russian companies. But he has so far opted for continuing education at the Kazan Federal University, according to the Unified Information and Publishing Center of the KFU.
