Almost 350 guys from 90 countries took part in the contest
A student of school № 131 of the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan won a gold medal at the International Chemical Science Contest. The competition was held from July 17 to 24 in Zurich (Switzerland). Almost 350 guys from 90 countries competed for the victory.
Nikita Perov, together with other participants, solved theoretical problems and conducted experiments on a practical tour. According to the results of the tests, the student from Kazan entered the top three winners.
Schoolchildren from Moscow, Ufa and the Altai region took part at the Science Contest. They also won two gold medals and one silver, the Department of Education of the Executive Committee of Kazan reports.
For reference, Nikita Petrov won the 57th International Mendeleev Chemistry Olympiad in Astana (Kazakhstan) in May. 113 participants from 21 countries took part in the intellectual competition.
