The exhibition will be presented in the new Pushkin Museum on the basis of the Moscow International School in Antalya.
(KZN.RU, February 22). In Turkey, the Pushkin Museum opens in Antalya on February 25. Its opening is timed to the 220th anniversary of the world-famous Russian poet. The museum will be located on the basis of the Moscow International School. One of the first exhibitions that visitors of the museum will see will be the exposition “Pushkin Nash” (Rus. “Our Pushkin”), organized jointly with the Kazan Museum of Soviet Lifestyle.
On the opening day of the museum, schoolchildren will read the poet’s poems in Turkish. Guests will be shown a fragment of the theatrical production “The Tale of Tsar Saltan”, a rap on Pushkin’s poems will sound, the dancers will take the guests to the world of old St. Petersburg with their performance. In addition, high school students will demonstrate outfits on the theme of characters in Pushkin’s works, and the Kazan Museum of Soviet Lifestyle presents a standup entitled “An Interesting History of the Current Russian Language”.
Also, various thematic exhibitions will be held for visitors of the museum. One of the first will be “Pushkin Nash”.
The subjects of the Soviet era, associated with the cultural heritage of the poet will be presented there.
One of its most interesting exhibits will be a unique copy of the newspaper “Pravda”, published on February 9, 1937. One of the materials states: “Pushkin is ours, Soviet!”, reports the Kazan Museum of Soviet Lifestyle.
In addition, the exhibition will include a collection of works of Pushkin, published in Turkey. Among them are copies of both the 60s and 80s, as well as books published back in the 30s of the XX century.
