The “Kazan Marathon-2018” will gather about 10 thousand people

All proceeds will be directed to the development of the free family hotel “Ronald McDonald's House”.

(KZN.RU, March 13). The “Kazan Marathon-2018” will be held on May 20 in the capital of Tatarstan, in which about 10 thousand people are expected to take part. The registration in the event is chargeable, all collected money will go to the development of the family hotel “Ronald McDonald's House”, located in the Children's Republican Hospital in the capital of Tatarstan.

The large-scale race will take place in four distances: 42.2 km, 21.1 km (both distances are reserved for participants born on May 20, 2000 and earlier), 10 km (for those born on May 20, 2004 and earlier) and 3 km (for those born on May 20, 2007 and earlier). Younger children have the right to pass 3 km only accompanied by one of the parents participating in the marathon.

Each participant will receive the starting number after registration, closer to the start of the marathon.

As the organizers noted, in order to join the marathon, it is necessary to have a medical certificate, in which it should be indicated that the participant is allowed to compete for the distance chosen by him in this sport. The certificate must be issued not earlier than 6 months before the date of the competition.
