Almost 2 million people have visited the Kazan Kremlin since the beginning of the year

The hotel load in Kazan has become the highest in the last two years

According to the results of the first half of the year, 1.98 million people visited the Kazan Kremlin compared to 1.67 million in 2022. This was reported by the Committee for Tourism Development of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan.

Other points of attraction for tourists in the city are the Kazan Virgin Monastery, Baumana Street, Staro-Tatarskaya Settlement and Kremlin Embankment.

As of today, there are 230 accommodation facilities in Kazan – hotels, hostels and guest houses. The average load of hotels in June was 76%, which is 5% more than in 2022. The average load rate for the first half of the year is estimated at 62%. This is the highest rate since 2021. On average, tourists stay in the city for three or four days. As before, there is a high percentage of individual tourists.

According to tour operators, tourists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Samara, Saratov, Tyumen, Volgograd and Voronezh came most often to Kazan this season.
