Today in Tatarstan more than 1000 children with the most severe conditions are in need of the assistance.
(KZN.RU, July 22). The Kazan hospice received the grant of the Russian President for habilitation. The grant totaled 2,9 million roubles.
Habilitation is skill development of being suited to life, when patients' total treatment is impossible. Today in Tatarstan more than 1000 children with the most severe conditions are in need of the assistance.
The Kazan hospice submitted an application for the grant, when it became clear that the patients were in need of visiting service by doctors. Today there are only 17 places in round-the-clock hospital of the hospice for children, and the turn is painted for a year ahead.
The children will receive special self-service training, and their parents will be trained in the bases of providing the necessary home support. Besides the oxygen concentrators will be available in the Kazan hospice, which will be given the children with high health needs free of charge.
We will remind, in Russia the concept of «habilitation of the persons with disabilities» was formally included in January 2016, when the Disabled Persons (Social Welfare) Act came into force.
