The athlete from Kazan became the prizewinner of the Karate European championships

<p> Ilya Savin, trainee of the Kazan sports school Ak Bure, took third place at the Junior Karate European Championships. The competition took place in Budapest (Hungary) on February 7-9. </p> <p> The athlete from Kazan competed in the age category of 18-20 years. This is the first medal of the WKF Tatarstan karate at the European Championships, according to the Committee of physical culture and sports of Kazan. A total of 1100 athletes from 50 countries participated in the competition. </p>
