Kazan racer Aidar Nuriev became the European rally-cross champion in the Super-1600 class. The final stage of the competition was held on September 15 in Riga, Latvia.
Aidar got two victories in the tournament in Spain and Belgium, in Sweden he got the "silver" and finished fourth in Germany. At the next stage in France, Aidar Nuriev again took the first place, and in the final in Latvia, the racer came in runner up. However, according to the scores the Kazan racer took the first place and the title of European champion. It should be noted that for the first time the athlete participated in the European championship in 2018. He then finished the season in the second place.
A total of 30 athletes from eight countries competed to win the Super-1600 class this year. In addition to Aidar Nuriev, the honor of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia in the international arena was defended by the representatives of Kazan Artur Yegorov, Timur Shigabutdinov – they took third and sixth places respectively.
