The Kazan runner won the international Halfmarathon Quantum Nicosia – 2024.

More than 4,000 athletes participated in the marathon

Yaroslav Byakin from Kazan has won the international Halfmarathon Quantum Nicosia – 2024, reports the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports. The event took place in Nicosia with over 4,000 participants from all over the world.

Yaroslav is a trainee of the Trudovye Rezervy sports and is being trained by honored coach Vitaly Ilyin. The young athlete set a new record on a challenging hilly track, covering a distance of 21.1 kilometers in 1:04.50.

Previously, it was announced that Kazan athletes, as part of the Ak Bars Hockey Academy team, became winners of all-Russian competitions in the under-16 age category, earning bronze medals.
