Last year, the airport met its two-millionth passenger on August 19, which at that time was a historic record for Tatarstan's civil aviation. This year the record was broken. The growth is almost 7% compared to the same period last year.
1 million 278 thousand passengers were served on domestic routes, 727 thousand on international routes. In November, it is planned to reach the indicator of 3 million passengers.
Significant growth rates are recorded in most areas. In addition to Moscow and St. Petersburg, traditionally the most popular tourist destinations were Antalya, Istanbul, Dalaman, Dubai, Prague, Phuket, Tbilisi, Baku, as well as Sochi and Simferopol, reports the press service of the airport.
