Kazan airport switched to winter schedule

The first transequatorial flight to Zanzibar will be launched in the near future.

On October 25, Kazan International airport switched to the winter schedule. A number of new flights to be launched for international and domestic destinations.

The most important new route in the schedule of Kazan airport will be the launch in early November of tourist flights to East Africa – from Kazan to the island of Zanzibar in Tanzania. This will be the first direct flight to the southern hemisphere of the Earth on a regular basis in the history of Kazan airport.

In the new season, winter flights are also planned to resorts in Southeast Asia and other tourist destinations, which will be opened if air traffic with the countries is resumed.

There will be new flights on domestic routes as well. Flights are planned to Yekaterinburg, Makhachkala, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Perm and other Russian cities.
