Kazan Airport has served 2 million passengers since the beginning of the year

<p> The Gabdulla Tukai Kazan International Airport has served 2 million passengers since the beginning of the year. The airport reached this indicator seven days earlier than in the record year in 2019. </p> <p> In July, 462,469 passengers were served, of which 314,659 passengers were served on domestic airlines and 147,810 people – on international ones. This indicator has become a record for the airport -previously, the maximum number of customers was recorded in August 2019, during the WorldSkills Championship in Kazan. </p> <p> St. Petersburg has become one of the most popular domestic destinations since the beginning of the year. The number of flights to this city increased by 68% compared to 2019 and reached 222,817 passengers. Sochi was also in high demand – the number of passengers increased by 129%, to 194,521 people. </p> <p> Istanbul is popular among international destinations – the number of passengers increased by 30.3%, to 45,771 people, Kazan Airport’s Press Office reports. </p>
