Kazan athletes won at the All-Russian triathlon competitions

The athletes competed in the duathlon-cross discipline

Athletes from the capital of the republic of Tatarstan became winners and prize-winners of the All-Russian triathlon competitions. The competitions took place on October 7-8 in Zelenodolsk. More than 300 athletes from 15 regions of the country participated in the event.

On October 7, Anna Demidova won a bronze medal at the Russian Triathlon Championship. She competed with juniors under 23.

The next day Svetlana Sokolova took first place at the second stage of the Cup of Russia. Earlier, the triathlete became the second at the European Winter Triathlon Championships.

The athletes competed in the duathlon-cross discipline (running, cycling, running). In Kazan, Anna and Svetlana train at the Olymp sports school, the Press Office of the Tatarstan Ministry of Sports reports.
