The award provides an opportunity to enter higher education institutions of Russia in specialized areas without entrance exams.
(KZN.RU, April 9). Schoolchildren from Kazan became winners of the All-Russian Schoolchildren Olympiad in Russian. The final stage was held in Moscow on the basis of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) from 1 to 6 of April. In total, 236 students from all over Russia took part in it, 8 Tatarstan representatives were among them.
The finalists went through two written individual tours, took part in the contest of connoisseurs of Russian, visited tours and master classes, listened to lectures by scientists, journalists, and psychologists. Schoolchildren were evaluated by teachers and scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Academy of Education, as well as representatives of leading universities in Russia: Moscow State University, St. Petersburg State University, RUDN, Moscow State Pedagogical University, HSE, and others.
Prize-winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad were Elena Batrakova and Tatiana Lukoyanova, students of 9 and 10 grades of the school №131 in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan. The Ministry of Education and Science of the RT notes that this award provides an opportunity for schoolchildren to enter higher education institutions of Russia in specialized fields without entrance examinations.
