Kazan schoolchildren can take part in the contest “IT Champion”

<p> (KZN.RU, September 19). The contest among schoolchildren “IT-champion” started in Tatarstan. The main task of the participants is to involve adults in the active use of the electronic services of the RT state services portal and to collect the maximum number of prize points. Points are awarded for involving new adult users to the portal and performing actions, for example, filing electronic applications, paying for services, or entering meter readings. The more active users a student will bring, the more points and the chances of winning he will have. </p> <p> </p> <p> In order to become a participant in the competition, the student needs to help parents or other adults go to uslugi.tatarstan.ru portal, and also save their login from the site edu.tatar.ru (Electronic Education of the RT) in their personal account. </p> <p> </p> <p> The contest will be held in two stages: from September 18 to November 30, 2018, and from February 1 to April 30, 2019. By the results of each stage of the contest, 3 winners will be determined in each municipal and city district, which will receive smartphones as a prize. The most active participants will receive 270 valuable gifts. A separate nomination is provided for the most active class leaders, whose class will gain the highest average score. </p> <p> </p> <p> The competition is conducted by the Ministry of Informatization and Communication of the RT together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the RT in order to develop digital skills of schoolchildren and increase computer literacy of the population. </p> <p> </p> <p> There is a new service on the state services portal of RT: the submission of an electronic application for the approval of the project for the placement of outdoor information in Kazan. Users of the mobile application “Services of the RT” are advised to update it to the latest version before September 20 to avoid problems with the old version. </p>
