Kazan public organizations of disabled people will be able to use municipal property for 49 years

<p> (KZN.RU, February 26). Public organizations of persons with disabilities will be able to receive municipal property for free use for a period of up to 49 years. The corresponding decision was made today at the reporting XXXII session of the Kazan City Duma in the City Hall. </p> <p> </p> <p> Renat Galyautdinov, the chairman of the Committee for Land and Property Relations, made a proposal to change the procedure for granting state property for a longer period in order to provide support to people with disabilities and organizations representing their interests. He marked that such assistance is provided for by the Federal Law “On Social Protection of Disabled Persons in the RF”. This will take into account the norms of the existing order. In particular, the provision on the inadmissibility of the municipal property use granted on the right of gratuitous use for commercial purposes. </p> <p> </p> <p> “At present, an agreement on the free use of 14 municipal facilities with a total area of 1230 square meters has been concluded with such public organizations”, he noted. The innovation will help create a stable and favorable environment for the activities of people with disabilities, help them to avoid regularly passing through the procedure for renewing the use right. “The result will be social support for people with disabilities and their adaptation, and an improvement in their life quality ultimately”, he concluded. </p> <p> </p> <p> The deputies did not have any comments on the proposal; the decision was taken unanimously. </p>
