The call-up commissions have started working from today at the military commissariats of Kazan. About 100 new recruits were called-up to the first two meetings, which were held with the participation of Evgeny Varakin, deputy chair of the Kazan call-up commissions. In total, about 700 Kazan citizens will be called-up for military service in spring.

About 180 people from the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts will be called-up for military service

About 50 people were called-up to the military commissariat of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts for a meeting of the call-up commission, 15 new recruits were drafted to military service. In total, it is planned to call-up about 180 people.

Kazan new recruits serve throughout the country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.

Friends and relatives are often drafted to serve in one unit

Friends and relatives often appeal to members of the commission to serve in one unit, usually these appeals are satisfied, it will help young soldiers to better adapt to new conditions. “We take into account the requests of the guys, including the place of service. But first of all, there is a professional, psychological selection to determine the suitability for military service”, - explained Mikhail Venediktov, military commissar of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts.

The preferences of new recruits are taken into account when drafting them to certain troops

At the meeting of the call-up commission, 50 people came to the military commissariat of the Privolzhsky and Vakhitovsky districts, 20 new recruits were drafted for military service. “We have examined their health, education, marital status, motivation to serve in the armed forces, - said Marat Bakhitov, head of the department of training and draft.- As in other commissariats, we take into account the preferences of new recruits when drafting to a certain type of forces”.

During the preparatory activities, five people were assigned to the FSO Presidential Regiment. Another seven people from Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts will go to serve in scientific military units.

COVID-19 prevention measures: masks, thermometers, vaccinations

Military offices continue to comply with sanitary and epidemiological requirements. All visitors of the military commissariat would measure temperature, put on masks and treat their hands with antiseptic.

All Kazan new recruits will be tested for COVID-19 by PCR method.

The conscripts to go to the military points in the second half of April.
