Kazan non-profit organizations can receive premises for free use

The property support of NPOs was discussed at the XXXIII session of the Kazan City Duma.

(KZN.RU, April 18, Ksenia Shvetsova). Socially-oriented non-profit organizations in Kazan can apply for property support and receive municipal premises for free use. Rustem Gafarov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, announced this at the session of the XXXIII session of Kazan City Duma.

Deputy Rushania Bilgildeeva asked how well property support of non-profit organizations (NPOs) is developed in Kazan. Rustem Gafarov answered that by contacting the Land and Property Relations Committee, NPO leaders can receive premises for free use for 5 years. And provided that the contract was executed without violations, it is prolonged for another 5 years.

“On an ongoing basis, we also provide NPOs for holding events for teen clubs, cultural centers, and sports facilities”, added R. Gafarov.

According to the portal of NPOs of the RT, 5834 non-profit organizations are registered in the republic, of which 2395 are in Kazan.
