Kazan racers have won the Phygital Games in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan

<p> The Ek-ALGA Kazan team became the winner of the races at the Phygital Games in the capital of the republic of Tatarstan. The racers Boris Garifullin and Mikhail Statsenko won with advantage of 21 seconds. </p> <p> The Phygital races were held as a relay race with the participation of 8 teams. The participants had to overcome 20 laps in a karting race and 10 virtual laps on the Assetto Corsa simulator. Boris Garifullin and Mikhail Statsenko were congratulated by Nikita Mazepin, a driver of Formula 1, the winner of the Silk Road Rally. </p> <p> “We won because of the balanced team, - Boris Garifullin shared. – Misha is a fast simracer, and I am good in karting. We helped each other, noticed faults that need to be improved. In general, I think Phygital racing has a great potential. I suppose that in the future they will compete not in karting, but on racing cars.” </p> <p> The second place at the Phygital races was taken by the K.N.Racing team - Yaroslav Shevyrtalov and Maxim Soldatov. Next was the SMP Racing team, with drivers Roman Sharapov and Formula 3 winner Alexander Smolyarov. </p> <p> The program also included a show-race with the participation of streamers Dmitry Lix, Ilya Yatskevich and Alexander Paradeyev, blogger Marat Kashapov, SMP Racing program drivers Alexey Basov, Sergey Sirotkin, Vitaly Petrov and Viktor Shaitar, the Directorate of Sports and Social Projects reports. </p> <p> For reference, the prize fund of the Phygital Games series of international competitions is 5.5 million rubles. In addition to the races, the competitions will be held in two more sports. On November 26, Phygital fighting competitions will take place, and on 9-10 December, Phygital hockey match will take place. </p> <p> The Phygital Games are held in Kazan as part of Games of Future 2024 test events. More than 5,000 participants will take part in the games, as well as up to 150 million people will watch them online. </p>
