The Kazan athlete won the All-Russian Sabre-fence competition

Ekaterina Mironova won with a score of 15:12 in the final

Kazan saber player Ekaterina Mironova won the All-Russian competition “The New Year's Tournament”. The competitions took place in the capital of Tatarstan.

Four athletes reached the semifinals: Maria Tretyakova from Barnaul, Taisiya Prusakova from Moscow and representative of Tatarstan Ekaterina Mironova, who shared second place, as well as Alexandra Sentyushkina from Moscow. In the final, the Kazan athlete beat Maria Tretyakova with a score of 15:12.

According to the press office of the Tatarstan Ministry of Sports, Ekaterina Mironova is a trainee of the Republican Sports School of the Olympic Reserve.

Earlier, the Kazan athlete won the All-Russian tournament in memory of Sergei Sharikov, which was held in Moscow. 167 athletes took part in the competition.
