Kazan swimmer took silver at the Cup of Russia

Sofia Dyakova competed in 800 m freestyle

Athlete from Kazan Sofia Dyakova won silver in the final of the Russian Swimming Cup. On the second day of the competition, she swam 800 m freestyle with a time of 8:36.71. Sofia beat Ksenia Misharina (8:40.44), but lost to Anna Egorova (8:33.01).

Nikolay Zuev, Ralina Gilyazova, Andrey Minakov and Valeria Salamatina from Tatarstan took silver in the 4x100 m mixed combined relay. Their result is 3:49.63. The first and third places were taken by teams from St. Petersburg, the second place was also won by a team from Belarus.

Tatarstan swimmer Anastasia Kolpakova won bronze in the 200 m butterfly. Her result was 2:12.39. The first and second places took Svetlana Chimrova from St. Petersburg (2:08.92) and Anastasia Markova from the Vologda region (2:11.14).

Another medal was won by the Tatarstan athlete Daria Ustinova. She swam 50 m backstroke in 25.55 seconds and took bronze. Maria Kameneva from Kaluga Region (27.76) and Alina Gayfutdinova from Udmurtia (28.41) won gold, the All–Russian Swimming Federation reports.
