The Kazan tenth-grader becomes the absolute winner of the International School Mathematical Competitions

<p> The Kazan school student became the absolute winner of the XXVIII Tuimaada International School Olympiad. Regina Sabiryanova, a student of the tenth grade of the IT lyceum, was the best in mathematics. Ten schoolchildren from five schools of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny were part of Russian team. </p> <p> One of the major intellectual competitions of the country was held online from July 26 to August 3 with the participation of more than 200 schoolchildren from Indonesia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Romania, Singapore and Russia. The children competed in the knowledge in STEM. For two days, they did sums 5 hours a day, which were prepared by the jury in Russian and English. </p> <p> The absolute winner of the School Mathematical Olympiad was Regina Sabiryanova. A diploma of the I degree was awarded to a student of the 9^th grade of the boarding school No.2 of the Moskovsky district of Kazan Andrey Evstafyev and a ninth-grader of the Lobachevsky lyceum Rail Yagafarov, who also received a special prize “For a beautiful solution of a combinatorics task”. </p> <p> The diploma of the II degree of the Olympiad was awarded to a student of the 9^th grade of the SOlNTZe specialized scientific center of the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan Timur Gizatullin and a student of the 8^th grade of gymnasium No.26 of Naberezhnye Chelny Yana Magizova. </p> <p> The diploma of the III degree was awarded to Asgat Khusnullin, a ninth-grader of the Lobachevsky lyceum, and Arseny Ustinov, a student of the 8^th grade of the IT Lyceum. According to the results of the IT competition, Yegor Shevchenko, a student of the 10^th grade of the IT Lyceum, was awarded a diploma of the III degree. </p>
