Kazan entered the top 3 Russian cities, leading in terms of the number of foreign tourists

<p> (KZN.RU, March 7). Kazan entered the top 3 Russian cities, leading in terms of the number of foreign tourists. Over the past year, 185 thousand tourists from other countries visited the capital of Tatarstan. The rating was created by the analytical agency TourStat based on the analysis of foreign tourism in the regions of the country. </p> <p> 4.8 million and 3.8 million foreigners visited Moscow and St. Petersburg respectively in 2017. </p> <p> Tatarstan also entered the top 10 Russian regions by popularity among foreign tourists and took fourth place. 278 thousand foreign guests visited the republic. Also the top 10 most popular regions includes the Krasnodar Territory (900 thousand tourists), Primorye (640 thousand), Crimea (more than 500 thousand) Moscow (230 thousand), Irkutsk Region (211 thousand), Vladimir Region (more than 200 thousand), Yaroslavl Region (more than 200 thousand), Stavropol (100 thousand) and the Kaliningrad region (100 thousand). </p>
