Kazan entered the top three of the leading cities for nostalgic tourism following the results of the World Cup-2018

Many tourists expressed their desire to return to the capital of Tatarstan.

(KZN.RU, July 20). Kazan entered the top 3 cities for nostalgic tourism following the World Cup, defeating even Moscow. Only Sochi and St. Petersburg are ahead of the capital of Tatarstan.

Moscow and Samara were in the fourth and fifth places in the top five cities where travelers would like to return in the first place. According to the results of the social poll by Tvil.ru, Kazan scored 11% of the votes of tourists, St. Petersburg – 23%, Sochi – 30%, Moscow – 9%, and Samara – 7%.

Nizhny Novgorod, Kaliningrad, and Rostov-on-Don scored 5% of the vote, Ekaterinburg – 4%, and Volgograd – 2%.

More than 3 million people visited the World Cup-2018 in 11 cities in Russia. 300 thousand tourists were guests of Kazan during the championship.
