Kazan entered the top 3 most popular non-resort cities of the past summer

On average, tourists spent 3.4 nights in the capital of Tatarstan.

(KZN.RU, September 4). Kazan does not leave the ratings of Russian cities popular with tourists. This time the capital of Tatarstan entered the top 3 most popular destinations for summer holidays in 2018.

The first place of the rating is taken by St. Petersburg, the second one went to Moscow, and Kazan is on the third place. In the northern capital, tourists spent 3020 rubles per day for a hotel room and preferred to stay an average of 4.5 nights; in Moscow, they spent 3580 rubles and stayed for 3.8 nights. In Kazan, the average cost of a family for living was 2850 rubles per day and the stay was for 3.4 nights.

The ten most popular cities in the summer of 2018 also included Yekaterinburg, Petrozavodsk, Krasnodar, Kaliningrad, Rostov-on-Don, Volgograd, and Voronezh. In general, tourists planned trips for the period from 1.5 to 4.5 nights and spent on living from 1700 to 3600 rubles per day.

Specialists of the booking service Tvil.ru based the rating on the number of nights booked by tourists in hotels and apartments in the period from June 1 to August 31. Resort cities were not taken into account.
