Kazan entered the top 3 most popular cities for traveling in the New Year holidays

According to preliminary data, the average loading of hotels on New Year's Eve will be 79%.

(KZN.RU, December 17, Alena Miroshnichenko). Kazan entered the top 3 most popular cities in the country for traveling in the New Year holidays in 2019. The capital of Tatarstan is only behind of St. Petersburg and Moscow. Daria Sannikova, the director of the Tourism Promotion Committee, announced this today at the Business Monday.

The rating was made on the basis of booking hotels and apartments from December 29, 2018, to January 8, 2019, by tvil.ru booking service.

“On average, tourists book hotels for 3.5 nights. According to preliminary data of Kazan hotels, the average loading of hotels on New Year's Eve will be 79%, in the period from 2 to 7 of January – 62%. The booking process continues. Thus, we expect even larger loading of Kazan hotels”, noted the speaker.

All major hotels, restaurants, shopping centers prepare their New Year's programs and shows for their guests. All of them are aimed at creating a cheerful, warm, festive atmosphere, said D. Sannikova. In addition, a special calendar of interesting events has been developed in preparation for the New Year events. It contains the list of events that will be held in Kazan on New Year holidays and in 2019.
