Kazan will host the World Aviation Championships for the third time

Pilots of the Red Bull Air Race will compete with each other on June 15 and 16 on Kazanka River.

(KZN.RU, May 28). On June 15 and 16, the third stage of the Red Bull Air Race will be held in Kazan for the third time. 14 teams of Master class pilots and up to 12 Challenger class pilots will compete in speed, accuracy and skill in controlling light super-maneuverable aircraft.

The Red Bull Air Race is a dynamic type of piloting. Pilots complete difficult airways with obstacles in the shortest possible time. Airplanes accelerate to 370 km/h, and pilots experience overloads when they pass the route marked by 25-meter inflatable pylons at low altitude.

This year's program of the World Championships Red Bull Air Race includes several stages. The first one was held in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi on February 8-9. The second stage will take place in Kazan, and the end will be in Saudi Arabia.

Due to the air races, the traffic on the streets of Sibgat Khakim and Bondarenko in Kazan will be limited from 14 to 16 of June. On June 15 and 16, pedestrians will be restricted to walk in Dekabristov Street and Amirkhan Prospect.
