Kazan will host the BRICS Games in 2024

<p> The BRICS Games will take place in Kazan in June 2024. This was announced by the Russian Minister of Sports Oleg Matytsin at the session “Sport: the bridge of friendship between Russia and Africa” at the Russia -Africa Summit. </p> <p> “We have received confirmation from Kazan that the BRICS Games will take place from June 12 to 23. The program includes 25 sports, we will invite national teams, as well as teams from other countries,”- the Minister said. </p> <p> Also in 2024, a meeting of the BRICS heads of state will take place in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. </p> <p> The BRICS is an association of five countries: Russia, Brazil, India, China and South Africa. </p>
