Kazan accepted the relay of the fire of the Krasnoyarsk Universiade-2019

Rustam Minnikhanov, Alexander Uss and Ilsur Metshin took part in the lighting of the city fire cup near the main building of the KFU.

(KZN.RU, November 10). Today the lighting ceremony of the city fire cup of Universiade was held in Kazan. The XXIX World Winter Universiade-2019 will take place in March of next year in Krasnoyarsk. Rustam Minnikhanov, Alexander Uss and Ilsur Metshin took part in the ceremony. The fire of the Student games was delivered to Kazan fr om Arkhangelsk.

The torchbearers carried the main symbol of the Krasnoyarsk Universiade through the Kazan streets and the iconic objects of the capital of Tatarstan: the Palace of Culturologist, the Resurrection Tower, the Syuyumbike Tower, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Kul-Sharif Mosque, the Museum of Natural History of the RT, the National Museum of the RT, and the National Library of the RT. The route ended near the main building of the KFU where the final celebration took place with the lighting of the city fire cup.

The fire of Universiade-2019 will go to Yekaterinburg wh ere the next stage of the relay will be held on November 17.
