The facade of Kazan State Medical University's anatomical theater is being updated for the upcoming BRICS summit. According to the Tatarstan Committee for Cultural Heritage Protection, the construction workers have completed plastering and drying the walls and are now completing painting of the surfaces and architectural and decorative elements of the facades.
For reference, the facades of 39 buildings will be repaired for the BRICS summit, which will take place in Kazan in October. Most of these buildings are located in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky city districts, with 31 sites in total, while the rest are located in Novo-Savinovsky and Moskovsky city districts. Some of the buildings will receive partial repairs, with the main works including painting of facades, restoration of smooth walls, filling of cracks, renewal of plinths, and renovation of balconies. Additionally, two buildings will also have their roofs repaired.
