Seventeen public spaces in Kazan will be decorated for the New Year

<p> In Kazan, public spaces are being decorated for the upcoming New Year – festive luminous arches have been installed on Svobody Square, the Black Lake Park, and on Baumana and Kremlevskaya streets. Urban enterprises have joined in the installation of this decor, according to Igor Salyakhudinov, chairman of the External Improvement Committee. </p> <p> «The number of tourists is increasing. We are expecting a large number of visitors for the New Year holidays, therefore, the decoration of the city is very important. In the upcoming weeks, I ask you to do our best to make the city more attractive», – said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital city of Tatarstan. He also thanked those who decorated their buildings. </p> <p> According to Igor Salyakhutdinov, New Year’s towns and light installations will be set up in 17 public spaces in the city. These include the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, Black Lake parks, Uritytsky Park, Lyadskoy Garden, and others. The Fisherman's Garden, Svetlaya Dolina park, and Gorky Park will be decorated for the New Year's celebrations. For the first time, a New Year’s town with glowing installations will be located on Serov Street, which has recently been landscaped into an inclusive boulevard. </p> <p> The installations «2025» have been placed on Millennium Square and Tinchurin Square. Pushkin Street has been decorated with the «Cascade», «Christmas Trees», and «Snowflakes» installations, and light decorations have been installed on the transport ring along Akademika Parina Street and near the Central Stadium. </p> <p> Main transport routes have been decorated with light decorations. These can be seen on Karl Marx, Nikolai Yershov, and Vishnevskogo Streets, as well as on Leninskaya Dam and Universiade Avenue. </p> <p> This winter, light designs on bridges across Bulak Bayou and along the fence on Orenburgsky Tract will be updated. Illumination will be placed that previously decorated the Millennium Park fence. </p> <p> In summer, equipment for LED lighting of the «M» letter at the entrance to Kazan along Orenburgsky tract was updated. A festive lighting scenario was also prepared for Millennium Bridge. Installation will shimmer in different colors. </p> <p> This year, the main festive activities will take place at the main New Year’s site – near the Kazan Family Center. Fair houses and cafes have already been set up there. Installation work is scheduled to be completed by December 20. </p>
