A new modern school No.188 for 1224 seats will open in the Salavat Kupere residential complex by the beginning of the academic year. Construction work at the lyceum is completed by 98%

The multidisciplinary lyceum No.188 “Bionics” is being built by the Ak Tash contractor company. It is located near the gymnasium No.189 “Zaman”, which welcomed its first students earlier this year. The opening of new educational facilities is a long-awaited event for residents of the micro district, where there are many young families with children.

“This is the second school in the Salavat Kupere district which we open this year. It is the first district in Kazan, where two such large schools are built in one year – Rustem Gafarov noted. – We understand that this is a growing district, where residents are waiting for new social facilities. We will be happy to congratulate them on September 1.”

Enrollment in the lyceum began in July, to date, about 600 students have already been enrolled, including 179 children in the first grades, said the director of the lyceum Elvira Rasulova.

Rustem Gafarov visited the school restaurant with 456 seats, two swimming pools – large and small, as well as classrooms. Laboratories have been designed at the chemistry, physics and biology classrooms. In addition, the lyceum will equip two engineering and technological classrooms.

On the third floor of the building, there are two gyms: a large one is provided for playing sports, and a small hall is equipped with fitness equipment.

Comfortable soft sofas were installed in the lobby for children, and a co-working area was equipped on the ground floor – here students will be able to read, do homework or just relax in their free time.

As of today, the construction work at the lyceum has already been completed by 98%, the equipment has been delivered in full, and its installation is underway.

In addition, workers are completing landscaping on the adjacent territory – basketball and volleyball grounds, a football pitch, playgrounds for kids are being equipped here.

The construction of the road is currently underway near the school, which separates the educational facility from the future park. R. Gafarov instructed to equip safe pedestrian crossings from the school through the park to N.Yusupova Street.

Within walking distance from the new lyceum, kindergarten No.46 “Yelmay” is being built for 260 children. “This is the eighth kindergarten in our residential area, however, the demand for preschools is still high,”- head Leila Kharisova said.

The construction of the kindergarten started in January by the contractor company Kazansoyuzstroy. It is necessary to put the facility into operation by September 1, according to the chief engineer Ayrat Garifullin, the work has been completed by 82%. Nevertheless, the participants of the meeting noted that the work is being carried out behind schedule.

“Obviously, the readiness is low. With such a pace of work, you will not complete the work until September 1– R. Gafarov noted. – By the beginning of the school year, not only a new school should be opened in Salavat Kupere, but also a network of educational institutions should be opened at once. You should work harder. If we have scheduled the beginning of the school year, everything should be done by this time.”

The head of the Executive Committee instructed to control the progress of the construction of a preschool on a weekly basis.
