Young athletes of sports schools, clubs and sports organizations will take part in the tournament.
From November 5 to 6, the final leg of the Mad Wave Challenge-2021Russian swimming competitions, organized by the Russian Swimming Federation and the Swimming Federation of the republic of Tatarstan, will take place at the Burevestnik sports complex in Kazan. The results of the season will be summed up and the names of the winners will be announced based on the results of the overall standings in 16 categories.
Traditionally, the participants of the final leg will compete in an extended program. It included heats at a distance of 50 m, 100 m and 200 m in each of the swimming styles, 100 m Freestyle, as well as 4x50 m Medley.
Young athletes from sports schools, clubs and sports organizations from different regions of Russia will participate in the competitions. Boys and girls will compete in two age categories – 11-12 and 13-14 years.
The final awarding ceremony will take place on November 6, the Press Office of the Tatarstan Ministry of Sports reports.
