Ilsur Metshin: “We choose the future of Kazan and the country by electing the President”

The Mayor of the city urged the residents to be active and to vote.

(KZN.RU, March 14). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the capital of Tatarstan, urged the citizens of Kazan to be active and to come to the polling stations on March 18 to take part in voting at the presidential elections in the program “Theme” on the TV channel “Efir”.

“I want to address the residents. This is the most important political event in the country's life: we choose the President and our future. Our tomorrow depends on our position and activity. Dear citizens, if you share all the transformations that take place in our city, republic, country, you have to come and vote”, Ilsur Metshin addressed the residents.

He noted that it is important to take part in voting, to show their attitude to the country. “Look how much attention is paid to the capital of Tatarstan! What federal and international scale events are taking place in Kazan, how many funds have been allocated, how our lives have changed. Let's be active and show the concern for tomorrow and our future by arrival to the polling station on March 18!”, said the Mayor.

The Mayor of Kazan noted that the city was seriously prepared for the elections, it became a real holiday for the residents. “All 450 sites will not just receive voters, spring fairs will be organized there. Thanks to the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural producers, and neighboring regions”, said I. Metshin.

All those who voted will receive bracelets giving the right of free travel on public transport on this day and visits to the concert program on the territory near the stadium “Kazan Arena”. The best rock bands of the republic will perform for the audience, and headliners of the event will be Alvin Gray, Egor Krid, Salavat, and Valery Meladze. Entertaining zones, food trucks, and festive fireworks will be organized at the stadium.
