I.Metshin met with General Consul of Uzbekistan in Kazan

They discussed prospects for further cooperation.

(KZN.RU, April 1). Today Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, met with Fariddin Nasriev, General Consul of Uzbekistan in Kazan. They discussed prospects for further cooperation. Evgenia Lodvigova, the first deputy head of the Kazan Municipality, took part in the meeting which was held in the Executive Committee.

Ilsur Metshin noted that Kazan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was connected with partnerships since 1998, and regular official visits help to strengthen these communications.

Fariddin Nasriev was appointed as Consul General of Uzbekistan in Kazan at the end of October 2018. As he noted, a great deal had been achieved since then, and the opening of the Uzbekistan consulate in Kazan was scheduled soon.

Fariddin Nasriev noted that friendship of Uzbekistan and Tatarstan opened prospects for further cooperation, in particular for cultural development. As well Consul General noted that in the recent past the direct flight was open from Kazan to Tashkent, Fergany and Samarkand.
