Ilsur Metshin presented the republican and city awards at the XXXIII session of the Kazan City Duma

Today Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, presented republican and city awards to Kazan citizens, who made a significant contribution to the development of the city. The awarding took place at the meeting of the XXXIII session of the Kazan City Duma in the City Hall. </p> <p> The Mayor introduced to the deputies Alexander Mishchikhin, the new head of the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RF for Kazan. He addressed the words of gratitude for the conscientious work of the head of the city Alexey Sokolov, who previously held this post and then was appointed deputy minister of Internal Affairs for the RT and the Chief of Police. He received an honorary diploma of Kazan from the hands of the Mayor. </p> <p> “I thank our colleague for the contribution he made to ensure the safety of residents and guests of the city in the most difficult time when we had the Confederations Cup and the World Cup, met hundreds of thousands of guests”, said I. Metshin. “I want to thank the whole Kazan garrison for the work. Your service is dangerous and difficult”. Separately, the Mayor thanked the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the RT. </p> <p> “I am proud that over the course of several years I had the honor of being part of the most professional team”, said A. Sokolov. He thanked the deputies and leaders of the Executive Committee for the attention paid to security and law and order matters. </p> <p> At the session, the honorary title “Honored Worker of the Housing and Communal Services of the RT” was given to Yulia Knyazeva, the head of the Department of Improvement of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration of Kazan.  </p> <p> The Gratitude of the President of the RT was announced to Aidar Abdulkhakov, the chairman of the Committee on Transport, and Andrey Egorov the director of the MUP “Vodokanal”. </p> <p> The honorary diplomas of Kazan for conscientious work and active public work were awarded Andrey Kondratieff, the head of the regional executive committee of the “United Russia”. Mikhail Leonov, the deputy CEO of the Directorate of Sports and Social Projects, was awarded for many years of conscientious work and contribution to organizing the World Cup. Nuriya Timergaleeva, the nurse of the city clinical hospital №12, was awarded for many years of conscientious work and merit in the protection of public health. </p>
