R. Minnikhanov sent a message to the State Council of the republic and declared 2023 the Year of National Cultures and Traditions.
Today, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has sent a message to the State Council of the republic of Tatarstan. The Head of the republic spoke at the 35th session of the State Council of the republic of Tatarstan of the sixth convocation at the S.Saidashev State Concert Hall, where he declared 2023 the Year of National Cultures and Traditions. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin attended the event.
“The message of Tatarstan President is a great event in the life of the republic and its leaders and, first of all, residents of the region. It is important that in this difficult and anxious time we hear confidence in future in the words of Rustam Minnikhanov. Our republic has a large margin of safety thanks to its hardworking citizens, developed industry and business, as well as social projects. The President said that all programs would be continued. For us, the message is a guide to action,”- Ilsur Metshin said after the meeting.
Speaking at the meeting, Tatarstan President noted that the republic maintains its sustainable economic development and today is one of the main regions of the country.
According to R. Minnikhanov, the effective economy is essential for the implementation of republican programs, improving the quality of life and welfare of the population. By the end of the year, the expected gross regional product will be about 3.7 trillion rubles, the shipping volume will be about 4.4 trillion rubles, and the amount of construction work will exceed 460 billion rubles, capital investments – 750 billion rubles.
“A person is still in the spotlight of our attention and care. We are fully continuing the implementation of national projects, as well as republican programs aimed at improving the quality of life,”- Tatarstan President said in his speech. This year there are 44 of them, more than 46 billion rubles have been allocated from the regional budget.
Construction, renovation and improvement of more than 3,500 social and cultural facilities continues in Tatarstan.
One of the priorities of Tatarstan is the development of the education system. High–quality training of teaching staff is a key task of the education system, it is necessary to continue career guidance work in order to attract the best graduates to the teaching profession, Tatarstan President said.
Speaking about the healthcare, R. Minnikhanov noted that the priority issue is safe motherhood and the birth of a healthy child. According to him, an important project in this area will be the opening next year of a modern perinatal center at the maternity hospital of the city clinical hospital No.7. Tatarstan President also instructed to assist medical organizations in conducting wellness check-ups for people with chronic problems.
“It is important to focus on preventive measures that form a health culture. This is facilitated by the developed sports infrastructure and the holding of sports events,”- R.Minnikhanov noted. He reminded that this year athletes from the republic won four Olympic medals and participated at the Solidarity Games and the All-Russian Spartakiad, where they won 19 gold medals.
