Ilsur Metshin played friendly match with students of lyceum № 182 at the “Salavat Kupere”

The Mayor of Kazan evaluated the readiness of the sports infrastructure for the winter season.

Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin played friendly match with members of the “Polytech” hockey team of lyceum №182 at the Salavat Kupere residential complex. The match was coincided with the birthday of Russian hockey and was held at the school hockey rink.

The mixed teams “the Kazan Mayor’s Office" and “Polytech” were headed by Ilsur Metshin and Sergey Mironov, head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts. The employees of the Executive Committee, professional hockey players and young athletes joined the teams.

“This lyceum was put into operation in 2018, and it is really impressive. I hope the kids enjoy studying here. We are glad that hockey is played not only at the sports palaces, but also at the playgrounds like this. We grew up on the same grounds. The legends of Tatarstan hockey grew up on the same rinks and glorified our Kazan, the republic and Soviet hockey”, - Ilsur Metshin said, opening the game.

At the end of the match, Ilsur Metshin and Sergey Mironov awarded the best players of the match. In addition, a set of professional hockey sticks was presented to the “Polytech” team as a gift from the Kazan Mayor’s Office.
