Ilsur Metshin became regional coordinator of the federal project “Urban Environment”

The candidacy of the Mayor of Kazan was approved at a meeting of the Tatarstan branch of United Russia.

(KZN.RU, January 31, Mikhail Chentsov). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, became the regional coordinator of the project “Urban Environment”. His candidacy as coordinator of the federal project “United Russia” was approved at the XI meeting of the Regional Political Council (RPC) of the Tatarstan branch of the party. The event was held under the conduction of Farid Mukhametshin, the secretary of the United Russia party, the chairman of the State Council of the RT. 35 out of 41 members of the political council attended the meeting, there was a necessary quorum for making a decision.

Other regional coordinators of the 13 federal party projects that will be implemented in Tatarstan were also approved during the event. The delegates approved the following projects in addition to the “Urban Environment”: “Safe Roads”, “Children's Sport”, “United Country is an Available Environment”, “Healthy Future”, “Historical Memory”, “Strong Family”, “Culture of the Small Motherland”, and others.

At the same time, a list of regional party projects was approved. It included following initiatives: “Children Draw the Country”, “Days of United Russia”, “Children's University of the Volga Federal District”, “Sport without Borders”, “House of the Gardener is a Family Support”, “Every Child is Important in Russia”.

“Thus, we affirm today those party projects that are most in demand by the population of the republic. Many of them have already been started. We will continue to concentrate efforts on these projects”, marked Farid Mukhametshin.

The project “Urban Environment” is designed to solve some of the most urgent and frequent issues raised during meetings with voters, issues of improving the yards, creating a comfortable urban environment, the development of social and cultural space. All of them affect the interests of more than 30 million residents of the regional centers of the RF subjects, more than 13 million citizens of mono-cities.

The main goals of the project are to create a favorable modern urban environment, to increase the people's satisfaction with its quality, to monitor the implementation of plans for the integrated improvement of yards and park areas, to create systems for public participation and support of citizens' initiatives in making decisions on the city improvement.
