A humanitarian cargo was shipped from Kazan to Belgorod, including 14 diesel generators to help support the infrastructure
Today, under the auspices of the «Good Kazan» campaign, humanitarian cargo was shipped from Kazan to the residents of Belgorod, who suffered from rocket attacks. The shipment includes 14 diesel generators, which will help ensure a stable power supply for social facilities in the border area during the heating season. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin participated in the ceremony.
«Kazan residents have proved that they have caring and kind sincere hearts. Today we are sending humanitarian aid to a new address. After the appeal of Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, we united entrepreneurs and caring people under the auspices of “Good Kazan”. Today's assistance is necessary to ensure that power and heat supply are available in social facilities, housing, and where infrastructure is failing»,- Ilsur Metshin emphasized.
The Mayor recalled that Kazan actively assists Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye by sending about 1,600 tons of cargo valued at half a billion rubles.
The cargo includes diesel generators with capacities of 30 and 60 kW, costing more than 5 million rubles, which are designed to support the operations of schools, kindergartens, hospitals, water utility facilities, and social facilities.
The caring entrepreneurs of Kazan organized the current shipment. Rustam Abdulkhakov, deputy of the Tatarstan State Council, who was involved in the process, emphasized the significance of the initiative: “Generators are crucial for maintaining critical infrastructure, and electricity is vital for residents. Winter is coming, and backup power generation is essential for the smooth operation of social facilities.”
