The new medical facility for 180 visits per day will be equipped with all necessary for modern outpatient pediatrics.
Next year, a new children's polyclinic will start serving the first patients in the village of Derbyshki. Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin has inspected the progress of its construction. “This is a long–awaited polyclinic, which was requested by the residents of the village, its construction was provided for by the General Plan of Kazan”, - the head of the city noted. The new multipurpose medical facility is designed for children from Derbyshki and neighboring residential areas.
“The health of residents, and especially children, is the greatest value, therefore ensuring decent conditions of medical care has always been a priority of our work”, - Ilsur Metshin noted.
The construction of a branch of the children's polyclinic No. 6, which serves residents of the Sovetsky district, is carried out under the Healthcare national project. Now the transfer of water supply networks and the preparation of the foundation pit, as well as the filling of the monolithic foundation slab of the polyclinic, have been completed. Marat Safin, Director General of the construction company Altyn Group, reported the Mayor of Kazan that construction work is carried out according to the approved schedule.
The five-storey building (4 therapy floors and one technical floor) with a total area of almost 6.4 thousand square meters is designed for 180 visits per day. About 245 employees will work at the medical facility.
Vladimir Zhavoronkov, Deputy Minister of Health of the republic of Tatarstan, noted that the medical institution would be a multipurpose facility. It is planned to open a long-awaited injury care center at the polyclinic, which will be able to serve children living not only in Derbyshki, but also in neighboring residential areas. In addition, the polyclinic will have an infectious disease department, a laboratory, as well as a day patient facility, which will be able to receive up to 15 children a day.
According to V. Zhavoronkov, the departments of the medical institution will be divided into blocks to avoid overcrowding. A diagnostic department will be located on the ground floor of the polyclinic next to the entrance group, pediatricians will work on the first floor, and other specialists will work on the upper floors. “This policlinic will be equipped with all necessary for outpatient pediatrics”, - V.Zhavoronkov noted.

The facility is planned to be commissioned in the beginning of 2023. “During this year we have to complete the main construction works and start the interior works. The installation of medical equipment is planned next year”, - the head of the construction company reported to the Mayor.
