<p> Thorough preparations for the BRICS summit, which will take place this October, begin in Kazan this week. To date, 33 countries have confirmed their participation in the international forum. This is a huge number of business representatives. This is not the first time we have hosted an international event, but this is the first time we will hold an event of this level, so starting this week we will work closely in all areas,”- said Ilsur Metshin. </p> <p> “I always urge you to prepare for any event from scratch, without bravado about what we have already done. I drove around the city last week and on the weekend, while there was no traffic, I looked, and we have enough work to do. And thank God. Resources have been allocated for this work, thanks to Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarstan. He allocated funds to prepare the city for the event.
