<p> Today in Kazan, the results of the competition of professional skills among tourist, restaurant and hotel industry workers “Stars of hospitality” were summed up. The ceremony was held in online mode. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin addressed the winners with a video message. </p> <p> According to the results of the fifth contest, the best in their categories were blogger Kamila Tatlyeva, pastry chef at the Kol Gali Resort &amp; Spa hotel Zachariy Zobnin, Manager for domestic tourism – employee of the Premiera tourist association Guzel Salmanova, cook at the Courtyard by Marriott Kazan hotel Timur Garipov, bartender at Dali restobar Artur Khakimullin, waiter at the Riviera hotel Pavel Kartashov, maid at the Kol Gali Resort &amp; Spa Ekaterina Tikhonova, porter at the Nogai hotel complex Ksenia Perminova, restaurant manager at the Riviera hotel Dmitry Klubkov. </p> <p> Ilsur Metshin, in his address to the winners, noted that, despite the difficult time, specialists who are in love with their profession must remain in Kazan. He called the tourism industry a visiting card of Kazan, which enhances the prestige of the city. “It is important to realize that sooner or later the pandemic will be over, and professionals who care about the quality of accommodation for visitors in the capital of our republic will always be in demand”, - Ilsur Metshin said. </p> <p> This year, the competition attracted a record number of participants – 150 candidates competed for the title of best employee. </p>
